I believe that everything happens for a perfect purpose. I had
prayed about starting Paper Trunk for a long time and sometime around National Scrapbook Day in 2007, my hubby and I sat down for
a brainstorm session. I felt a "tug" and knew this was
something I was supposed to do.
We can find inspiration in just about everything from take-out
bags to nature. That is why you will see a wide variety of designs
coming from Paper Trunk. My hope is that your creativity will be inspired by our fun color combos and unique designs.
What makes my products and company so different? When I set out to have my papers
printed, I had no idea how many choices I would have to pick from. I could have gone with
a typical scrapbook paper but, I chose a recycled cardstock. The paper is made with
wind-generated electricity and 3% PCW. The designs are printed
with vegetable based ink making the cardstock safe for your memories and the environment.
Since launching Paper Trunk in the Summer of 2007, I have continued to make the best
choices I can in products and packaging without compromising on quality. I have dedicated a portion of my website to resources and information about living greener, look here: Scrap Green
If you have not had an opportunity to see our papers in person, please contact me .
I would love to send you a swatch sample so you can feel the difference and amazing
quality of our cardstock.
Thank you for coming to visit Paper Trunk today,

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Established in the summer of 2007 Paper Trunk has brought together quality, eco-friendly products for crafters across the globe. Located near Portland, Oregon, Paper Trunk is proud to manufacture products in the United States with an impressive list of international and domestic retailers carrying Paper Trunk products.Paper Trunk is a company that has set itself apart by committing to be innovative and loyal to eco-friendly products of the highest quality. The 12”x12”double-sided cardstock sheets are printed with vegetable-based inks and manufactured with wind-generated electricity. The cardstock is 30% PCW (Post Consumer Waste), providing an option of greener scrapbooking.
The commitment to provide supplies for green crafting extends beyond the products themselves and into the packaging of Paper Trunk products. Whenever possible, recycled or minimal packaging is used. For example, the 12” acrylic border stamps are packaged in a recycled kraft bag and tied with jute string. In addition to the eco-friendly packaging, this gives Paper Trunk products a unique and eye-catching look in a scrapbook store.
The care to bring outstanding, quality products to the scrapbook market is also evident in the customer service provided with each order. Wholesale customers can feel comfortable placing their orders directly on our secure website. Not internet savvy? Give us a call or send us an e-mail. You will work directly with the owner to ensure a prompt, accurate, and enjoyable transaction.
The company website is very fresh and user-friendly. There are links to the product catalog, blog, Design Team profiles, gallery, and more. A special feature on the website is our Showcase. An online gallery where individuals can share their projects or simply come to get inspiration for their own projects.
Included on the website is an informative page called “Scrap Green.” This portion of the website is dedicated to providing information about being eco-friendly beyond the crafting world. It is a great resource for crafters looking for ideas, tips, and encouragement in making greener choices.
In the billion dollar scrapbooking industry, a company like Paper Trunk could easily get overlooked in the shadows of the larger craft corporations. Reaching out to the consumer has been a grass roots effort for Paper Trunk and its team of designers. Sponsoring scrapbooking communities, contests, donations, and participating in fundraisers has been the pillar of reaching out to crafters around the world.
The talented Trunk Team members are scattered from Sweden to Australia and across the United States. The designers create projects, layouts, and cards to inspire every level of crafter. The Trunk Team maintains an active blog (http://www.papertrunk.blogspot.com) providing updates on products, scrapbooking techniques, and the occasional blog crop. This very special team of designers takes a vital role in the heartbeat of Paper Trunk.
